Kris Hooper, is a member of the Vancouver Street Photography Collective and submitted three photos titled "Three Takes On A Mural." You can follow Kris @kris.hooper on Instagram. The mural in question is "Free Yourself," by artist Medianeras. It really requires multiple perspectives to capture the magic of the optical illusion.
As a photographer I am intrigued with how street art creates shared spaces. You can see the effect in the way that people navigate the space around works, and the delight they take in having something shared to engage with. These public spaces become more public. This sort of connection between individuals, ideas and the physical environment seems particularly nourishing now. - Kris Hooper
